Let me explain. There are many planetary configurations that determines a person's personality, but the two most important are the position of the Sun and the position of the Moon on the day of birth. The Sun's position explains a person's character, and the Moon's position explains their emotional needs and predisposition. These two luminaries team up to incline a person to behave in a particular way.
The importance of the Sun/Moon combination was revealed by psychology's great Dr. Carl Jung in 1930. His research uncovered definite parallels and connections between the Sun/Moon configurations of married couples. The startling conclusion was that certain Sun/Moon aspects between birth dates and marriages were found to be three times higher than chance would predict.
The strongest connections were:
- The Moon in the same sign as another person's Sun sign;
- The Moon in compatibility with another person's Sun sign;
While I emphasize the various Sun and Moon combinations in this book, and give a description of the personalities represented by the Sun-Moon combinations for each Sun sign, I have also included a brief description of the Ascendant personality and a table for determining one's Ascendant or Rising sign. My reason for doing so is that, in Dr. Jung's findings, he went so far as to say that when the Moon was in the same sign as the other person's Ascendant, there was a greater possibility of marriage. Therefore, he assumed that the Ascendant was important to the psychological makeup of lovers.
And, after years of study I couldn't agree more. You will too when you apply it to long term relationships and marriages as you look around.

ARIES RISING

Was he the first to make you feel this way, share your special secrets, meet the family, see you in that red bustier? Of course not. Gemini Rising men are world class travelers even if confined to their own neighborhoods. They are restless and active and have some marvelous characteristics.
